Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or related regulatory/compliance frameworks. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations, primarily focused on GRC modules including Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance GRC modules within the ServiceNow platform
Collaborate with risk, compliance, and security teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Design and configure business rules, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, workflows, and integrations for GRC processes
Build custom dashboards and reports to support GRC visibility and tracking
Implement automated controls and assessments to monitor risk and compliance metrics
Maintain and support existing ServiceNow applications and modules, including upgrades and patching
Ensure data integrity, access control, and compliance with security and privacy regulations
Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Integrate third-party tools (e.g., security scanning, vulnerability management, compliance systems) with ServiceNow GRC
Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience developing and administering the ServiceNow platform
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow GRC or related modules (IRM, SecOps, Vendor Risk, etc.)
Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, ServiceNow Flow Designer, and automated testing frameworks
Experience with risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, HIPAA)
Strong understanding of data structures, CMDB, and relational databases
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist – GRC
Experience with other ServiceNow modules like SecOps, ITSM, or HRSD
Familiarity with FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or HITRUST certification efforts
Exposure to governance tools like Archer, LogicManager, or MetricStream
Knowledge of risk quantification methodologies and compliance audit practices
